We are improving the integrity of the food system by creating biologically inspired products that trace, authenticate and sense.
WE CONNECT DIGITAL INFORMATION TO THE PHYSICAL WORLD
Humans have been harnessing the power of electrons for over 150 years, giving rise to the ubiquitous sea of information we call the internet. It's now time to harness the power of molecules and cells in a very similar way and bridge the gap between our digital and physical worlds. We make products that do exactly that.

ABIOGEN™ uses programmable molecules which can be inserted directly into most liquids, solids or on surfaces to help authenticate a wide array of organic and non-organic materials.
Think of it like microscopic barcodes that are embedded directly into a high-value food ingredient, agrochemical, or consumer good.
Using various methods of quantifying and reading these barcodes, we can ensure origin and purity.
ABIOGEN™: THE ORIGIN
Carverr is working on "digitizing" our natural world. It may sound Sci-Fi, but crops and other products that can tell us exactly where they came from and what happened to them along the way means a safer food system and a more sustainable planet.
CASE STUDY: Honey is enjoyed by millions of Americans each day. However, due to declining bee populations and increased demand, producers are cutting honey with a variety of other syrups and introducing questionable practices into the supply chain. By diverting their honey to South America prior to importation into the U.S, regulations can be circumvented.
Carverr has developed a cutting edge method for encoding honey directly with batch numbers, which can be read and quantified to ensure authenticity and purity. This eliminates the need for dozens of other tests that require waiting weeks for semi-accurate results.
